Coby is active in the national and local Knoxville chapters of the Society of Financial Services Professionals. He is also active in the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and is a qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table.

Coby graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology. He holds the Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant designations as well as insurance and securities licenses in Tennessee, Alabama, Virginia and Arkansas.
